A grant from your donor-advised fund (DAF) is a simple, tax-efficient way to support the protection of wildlife and wild places across Canada.

What is a donor-advised fund?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account established through a public foundation or financial institution. Once you make a contribution to your DAF, you can recommend grants to registered charities like WCS Canada whenever it is convenient for you.

Many donors appreciate DAFs because they provide a flexible and efficient way to organize charitable giving while supporting the causes they care about over time.

How to recommend a grant

Making a grant is easy.

  1. Contact your donor-advised fund administrator or log into your DAF account.
  2. Recommend a grant to WCS Wildlife Conservation Society Canada (WCS Canada).
  3. If your fund requests our charitable registration number, please use Charitable Registration Number: 85425 5882 RR0001.
