Become a monthly donor to make a big impact all year round. Monthly donors help WCS Canada plan ahead and invest in long-term programs and conservation action where it is needed the most. Securities or mutual funds
Gifts of Securities or Mutual Funds are a tax-smart and cost-effective way of supporting WCS Canada’s conservation efforts.
By donating securities directly to WCS Canada, you eliminate capital gains taxes and will receive a tax receipt for the full appreciated value of the gift. The receipt value will be based on the closing trading price on the day that the gift is received by WCS Canada. Transfers of securities donations to WCS Canada are received via Canada Helps.

Employer gift matching
Increase the impact and value of your donation!
Many companies across Canada match their employees’ donations to eligible non-profit organizations. Some companies also match gifts from spouses, retirees, and Board members.

School and Classroom Fundraisers
We are grateful to schools that include conservation awareness in their curriculum and encourage students to take action to protect Canada’s wildlife and wild places.
You can connect your classroom to nature and science while supporting WCS Canada’s efforts to combat climate change and biodiversity and habitat loss.
From student bake sales to talent shows and toonie book swaps, there are many creative ways for students to learn about conservation and raise funds to support WCS Canada.

Individual or Group Fundraisers
Turn your own passion into positive change for wildlife and wild places by organizing a fundraising event for your community. Create art from the heart by selling your crafted masterpieces to benefit nature. Organize a charitable book sale. Plan a performance or host a formal event with guest speakers who are as passionate about wildlife as you are.
You can create your own fundraising page for your project and share it with your network to encourage their support. Donations made through the fundraising page are tax deductible.
Almost any fun activity can be transformed into a fundraiser, or you can host an event to coincide with a national or world wildlife day. Here are some examples:

Designate your United Way gift to WCS Canada if you give to United Way through your corporate program.
