Maya Chartier

 Wildlife Technician

Western Arctic

Maya Chartier serves as a Wildlife Technician for the WCS Canada Arctic Program.

Among her many responsibilities, she coordinates the Seal Diet and Health monitoring project in partnership with Inuvialuit communities, remote field work logistics, GIS mapping, and drone piloting. In addition, she is passionate about scientific communication and visual arts. Maya completed her Masters in Sustainable Management of Forest Ecosystems and holds a bachelor in Physics.
