The challenges created by an ever-growing list of endangered species, ever-expanding human footprint and ecosystem-altering climate change cannot be effectively addressed with isolated actions. These big problems demand innovative solutions and that is why WCS Canada is involved with a number of initiatives that can help us change directions and adopt proactive approaches to saving wildlife and wild places. These big picture initiatives are informed by our on-the-ground scientific research and are one way we put our science findings into action to address some of the most pressing issues of our time.
